Do you offer any beginner’s classes in pottery? If not, do you know of anyone locally that does? I live in Waterford and would like to take a class in Loudoun if possible. Thanking you in advance for your response.
David it is amazing that watching your video and seeing all those fabulous pieces of pottery that you are self taught?!
Unbelievable…
I used to share a house with someone who had a local rep as solidly talented. Remembering his work , I wonder, looking at this video, why my house mate wouldn’t explore a broader range of colors beyond mostly browns. This short video can’t show everything even if it were ten minutes, but my friend would go through significant labor throwing the clay, and maybe there were other impurities not visible until the pieces were too far along. He would have to start over. Anyway, these days, who knows, maybe there are local suppliers of clay of various grades and prices.
Are you now offering a pottery training? I wanted to have my own just to personalize my home decorations. I know a person who is into that, but he’s more focusing the jar-making. I suggested him to make a bowl. But he said the market is lesser. Anyway, could it be possible if you will combine glass with clay? I mean, there’s a clay part and a glass part. Like making a clayed frame for a mirror. Could it be done? Would you mind if you try to do it?
What an idylic lifestyle you have, oh how I envy you!
