Homer describes his work as “figurative humanism,” often based upon classical, Biblical or contemporary themes. His sculpture and drawings of the human figure, portraits and animals, which he prefers to work directly from life, have been shown at museums and galleries in more than fifteen states in the USA, as well as London and Italy. Homer currently lives on a small sheep farm with his wife and young son, where he works on private commissions in his rural studio.

Hello. I am curious as to whether you are the Homer Yost whom I knew when I lived in Baltimore, MD in 1971. I think you would have been around 18 years old then. Did you grow up in Baltimore? Were you the pool life guard at an apartment complex near Stewart’s Department Store which I think was on York Road? I would like to hear from you. Thanks, Margo
